Marrakech will host the Forum in which the countries bordering the North and South Mediterranean define a common strategy to move to the VI World Water Forum in Marseilles.
The objectives of these two days will be to create a platform for dialogue and exchange among agents and people working in the water sector in the Mediterranean, and which will propose solutions and political commitments.
Topics to be discussed, will include the comprehensive management of water resources, analyzing unconventional resources such as desalination and reuse. Sanitation and access to the entire population, demand management and water governance will be other issues to be addressed, as well as water treatment and purification.
