The objective of this congress is to support mountain areas in implementing integrated and sustainable water management policies, notably through the exchange of current experiences, actions and policies, and input on up-dated knowledge and research outcomes.
This congress’ main theme is integrated and sustainable water management in mountain areas with three sub-themes:
• water habitats and resources
• governance, actors, projects and approaches
• uses and conflicts.
