The main theme of this seminar is ‘Institutional and Technological Interventions for Better Irrigation Management in the New Millennium’ and the three sub-themes are: Participatory irrigation management, Irrigation financing, and Resource conserving technologies.
The seminar will give the participants an opportunity to learn about the latest developments in the irrigation sector, network with irrigation professionals, policy makers and donors from around the world, and see newly established institutions’ functioning first-hand, including farmer organizations and water users associations in Pakistan.
