Women for Safe Sanitation and Clean Water in Europe of Transition and Central Asia
Women for water partnership
Tue, 06/07/2010 / Thu, 08/07/2010
From 6 to 8 July WfWP organises a Regional Working Conference (RWC) in the Bulgarian city Kazanlak with the title ‘Woman for Safe Sanitation and Clean Water in Europe in Transition and Central Asia’.
The host of the conference is the Bulgarian WfWP member Earth Forever.
The main goals of the RWC are to give grassroots women’s organisations and NGO’s an opportunity to reach out to policy and decision makers in order to promote people-centred and bottom-up development approaches. Furthermore to convince policy and decision makers about the concerns of the marginalised communities in accessing safe sanitation and clean water.
