Nitrate pollution is expected to be one of the main reasons that may impede water bodies to reach the MDGs by 2015. Within the Water Framework Directive, the workshop will address classical and innovative approaches of nitrate monitoring as well as alternative methods to support stakeholders in managing nitrate pollution.
