UNESCO-IHE Water Concert

Wed, 26/10/2005

UNESCO-IHE is organizing a cultural event for the benefit of its Fellowship Trust Fund, which enables water professionals to pursue further training and education at UNESCO-IHE. The event will feature photography, poetry and music, all addressing the theme of water. The American photographer Marjorie Ryerson will show a collection of her photographs, accompanied by the writings and musical contributions of world-renowned musicians who have creatively responded to the meaning and value of water in their lives. Classical and jazz pianist Michael Arnowitt will accompany Ryerson's readings with a selection of water-inspired music.

The gathering will bring together representatives from the cultural, political and business worlds, all united to support the much-needed training of water professionals.
