Children and teenagers between the ages of 6 and 18 years are invited to participate in the Children's International Art Contest under the theme ‘I Saw Disaster with My Eyes’.

The aim of this contest is to encourage the talent and way of thinking of children and teenagers towards survival, friendship and solidarity in times of disaster and in everyday life. Pictures should depict natural and man-made disasters: floods, droughts, hail storms, tornadoes, fires, environmental accidents, war conflicts, rescue operations, self help and solidarity, etc. A motto or brief message, printed on a separate piece of paper in English, must accompany each picture.
