The climatic change does not provide very favourable projections for the Central American Isthmus. Regional and national studies exposed at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UN-FC) demonstrate important changes in elements of regional climate such as temperature, precipitations, cloudiness and the runoff. The studies done in Central America demonstrate the sensibility of the productive systems and the fragility of the natural resources with the current climate Changes.
