Globalization is impossing new models in the world commerce which are affecting the export from countries producing primary commodities, specially fresh export agricultural products. Water resources are identified as the most important contaminants of agricultural products. Aspects related to nature and quality of water resources, their use and impacts on the export agricultural products are discussed. Main actions to be undertaken for sustainable projects are identified and analized.
