Poor countries are devastated by monsoons, droughts, reduction of water resources and typhoons because of they haven´t got economic resources for reducing their risk. Poor countries need help for changing this situation, according to a new World Bank report, 'Water for the Sustainable Development'. Its publication coincides with the World Water Forum celebrated in Mexico. Public and private financing is needed to promote the responsible use of water in the poorest countries and to reduce the poverty.
