Khania mayors ask for flood-prevention credits

Mayor Kyriakos Virvidakis of Khania, on the Greek island of Crete, warned that if the government didn't come up with the remaining 80% of the promised funding for public works, flood-prevention projects would come to a halt. Virvidakis and other mayors from Khania Prefecture requested a meeting with Cretan Governor Serafeim Tsokas to discuss the issue.
